Meet Beaux The Labrador
He was born with a facial deformity because he was being squashed in his mother's womb as one of six pups.

Thankfully, his intelligence and bubbly personality were not affected.
However, the people who were breeding could not sell him because of his "Ugly" face, so he ended up living with a man who neglected him and left him outside for 5 years.

Until he found Jamie Hulit
Jamie was undeterred by Beaux's desperate state and was determined to give him a second chance

She stated, "I didn't care how badly he might be ill".

And so his new life began...
"I just didn't want him to go into the foster system again and be returned...I wanted him to have stability and a place he knew was his home"

Sadly,
Due to neglect, Beaux was diagnosed with a chronic case of heartworms. Thankfully, with the help and intensive treatment by Dr. Jay Rydberg, Beaux was able to bet the odds.

And now he is as happy as can be!
He finds himself as another member of a very loving family, and a little brother to another Retreiver called Riley!
