When someone asks what month we are in but I don't know no June, I only know Pride month, baby! LOL, Pride month is here and if you are very so lucky to celebrate, you know how good the vibes are. I would honestly get major FOMO if I weren't part of this lovely, supportive community. Pride is all about lifting each other and feeling empowered within ourselves. June is the one month that, without a doubt, a lot of our attention goes to the queer community; to it's struggles, it's wins and celebrations. It is about creating community and trusting not only those who surround us but also trusting ourselves. Being kind, being unapologetically you and being just the person you are meant to be.

If there is something queer people know how to do, is a party! Parties come natural to the community. And when I say parties I am not necessarily referring to 350 people party. A party is a state of mind. A state one is when being surrounded by their people, when wearing whatever they want and feeling good about it. A party is confidence, it is fun, it is laughter and it is empowerment. That is why pride month feels like a constant celebration, it is a reminder to live by all of these values. To live like a party. And boy, we know how to throw one.
