It always starts like this, doesn't it? Except that often, we are not actually in on the joke. The cat knows, when we bring it home, that it is there to stay. It's just up to us to catch up. But the humans? Us? We are generally quite oblivious to our fate. We only realize that the cat is there to stay when we suddenly stop looking for other homes for the cat. It just kind of… happens.

And you know what? We're sure that this shaming is not working at all. We are actually certain that this kitty enjoyed every second of that ride. She only meowed when she did to express that joy, not for you to bring her back home. She was probably having the time of her life on that adventure, and you ruined it. Yes. Oh, yes, shame on you, human, not on the poor and innocent kitty cat.
