That is the point when sitting still and listening to their rant is not enough, and you might feel like action must be taken. It might not be your place or your business to meddle in someone's personal business, but if they won't hear it from you, how are they ever going to learn?

The couple in the story below is successful homeowners of a paid-off house that never even required a mortgage. They have a lovely family and live a comfortable life, which is something their friend is very aware of. Recently, the couple told their friend that they intend to buy a bigger house in a nicer neighborhood, but that this house costs a lot more than what they would get for selling their current house. A mortgage is out of the question, which led the couple to simply list their current property for a lot more, even if it's not worth that much.

While this is not really the friend's business to involve herself with how much they intend to sell their house and pay for a new one, she can't help but feel like they are exploiting potential buyers by asking for so much.
