There's a certain aura to birds that's hard to pinpoint, that leaves people in awe when they're around it. But we will try our best to explain what we mean by that, because we realise it might be as confusing as the Nazca Booby bird looks from the front (seriously, google that). But we think it stems from the fact that birds are equally awesome and silly. This emotional symbiosis is needed to create such a powerful aura in birds.

First of all, there's the obvious silly bird bonanza that we all know and love… or love less, depending on your experience. It's that wake-up call at 5 AM, directly under your bedroom window, full of birby screams like they have the lungs of a soul singer. It's that derpy pigeon gathering and how they bonk each other searching for the bread crumbs that the old lady on the bench threw out to them. It's birds being extra silly, which never fails to make us laugh, that gives off such a powerful funnies aura.

And then you have the beauty of birds, mainly from various areas, that leaves our mouths gaping, wondering how these magnificent creatures live with us on the same planet. It's not even possible to comprehend fully. But then again, it's hard to imagine a world without these magnificent birds that we love so much. It's hard to stay indifferent when you witness a Resplendent Quetzal, Rainbow Lorikeet, or a Golden Pheasant. They're just too beautiful. And all we can do is stand in awe.
