    Feral kitten abandoned by cat mom found in poor condition hiding under car in body shop by employee who scooped it up and gave the fur baby an affectionate home with extended family, rescuer says: ‘He will always be warm with me and my family.’

    A kitten who has been abandoned is one of the saddest things to come across in this life. But in the same breath also one of the happiest as it presents a golden opportunity to help a helpless soul in need. Which is exactly what this cat dad stepped up to do.

    This story from Reddit's r/CatDistributionSystem subreddit is actually quite a unique one and happily it is for heartwarming reasons rather than sad ones. For while there is nothing out of the ordinary in cat rescue circles about finding a kitten alone in a workplace. There is a lot to be said for the amount of people who were willing to put their lives on hold to make sure that this neglected kitten would make a full recovery and lead a life full of love and treats.

    Not only was this cat's rescuer and his family more than happy to step up to the plate, and with two cat children of their own that is no mean feat. but also our rescuers' parents-in-law raised their hands and threw their hats into the ring. All of them prepawed to put their sleep and sanity on the line to help out a sweet soul in need.

    • Well, that is quite the surprise to happen upon as you are starting your work day. For most of us the most animalistic reaction we might have before 10am is with a coworker who had a bad night’s sleep. But for this mechanic things took a rather fluffy turn and his day went from routine to magical in just a few moments. Sure, taking on a kitten just like that will take a lot of effort and work, but when you are gifted a bundle of joy like that, what else are you meant to do? Anything less than devoting your existence to supporting that sweet ball of fluff would be an offence to the Cat Distribution System that brought them to you.

    • Awww, this is so incredibly sweet. Sure, it might sound easy for this cute kitten to have too many people who want to care and love it. But the reality is that kittens demand a heck of a lot of attention and dedication. They will keep you up at all hours and if you already have cats, and at that, cats who are not massively fond of said kitten, well your work is doubled. Which is why it is so special that this fluffy fur baby has so many people lined up to love it. Despite the long hours and despite the extra work, they all want him. A situation that many stray kittens can only dream of.
