As humans, we constantly complain about how hard it is to make friends, and it really is. After you finish college, the chances of meeting someone you will be able to call a close friend become very slim. Not only that, but it also becomes extremely difficult to maintain the friendships you do have. People move away, and conversations go from happening every day to only on special occasions, and that's the best-case scenario.
What are we supposed to do to make friends? Simply strike up a conversation with people we see on the street? It sounds impossible, which makes the idea of shutting off in our comfortable homes much more appealing. Who needs hooman friends when we have our furry companions and a Netflix subscription, right?
But maybe there's something to learn from our furry friends, who manage to find friends in all shapes and sizes, wherever they go. They make doggo friends at the park, and hooman friends on every walk they go on, and even other unique and unexpected friends like the ones in the story below.
Miley the Golden Retriever doggo joins her hooman, Rosie, on a run every single day. In the past few weeks, Rosie and Miley noticed that a donkey and a horse living in a nearby farm were taking extra interest in them, since they always come to say hello once Rosie and Miley pass them on their run.
So, it became a lovely routine: Miley and Rosie would go on their run, pass by the open field, where the horse and donkey would be waiting to say hello. Miley would then run to the sweet pair and greet them the best way she knows how.
If you ask us, Miley and Rosie are teaching all of us an important lesson, getting ourselves out there and making friends even in unlikely situations. Keep scrolling to see their full story and video, and get inspired as well!
