Blossom was the one who organized everything, Bubbles was the sweet and sensitive one, and Buttercup was the tough one who was never afraid to speak her mind. At that moment, I personally identified with Buttercup (and I still identify with her today). But looking back, I even had the full green costume, with a mask and all. Now I realize it must have been a little scary for family members to see me suddenly appear in the living room all dressed up, wearing a mask. Kids are random.

After school, I would go to my grandma's house, and she made me chocolate milk while I watched TV. One of the shows I enjoyed most was The Powerpuff Girls. Those afternoons were perfect. I would finish my cup and ask my grandma for a refill. I would never let her sit down.
I think a lot of us had a Powerpuff Girls era at some point. Then I moved on and became a Justin Bieber fan, but that's another teenage obsession worthy of a new post.

Then I have to admit that Mojo Jojo genuinely creeped me out. Well, of course, he was the villain, so that was the point, but he was still kinda spooky for a kid. Then, the first time I knew what mystery felt like in my life was with Miss Bellum. I mean, why wouldn't they show us her face? I just wanted to know what she looked like.
Years later, I grew up and learned there was an artistic reason for that. Fair enough, but you don't need symbolism when you're a kid. Just show me her face, please, that was all I wanted.
