  "My sister (28F) has been married for 5 years and hasn’t had any children. I (26F) recently got married and i found out i was pregnant the same month. My husband (30M) was over the moon cos this will be our first child and we were both really excited."

• “We decided to share the news with my family during a family dinner. When we announce it everyone congratulated us and seemed genuinely happy. Then my sister asked if she could say something, she congratulated us then immediately asked if she can adopt my baby. I was completely shocked ,my husband face dropped and looked really upset. • “We finally talked but honestly it didn't go well. My sister(28F) called me, but she wasn't calling to apologize. She told me she was hurt and embarrassed that we just stood up and left the dinner. When I tried to explain how crazy it was to ask for our baby especially in front of the whole family she didn't get it at all. She actually doubled down. She said that since she’s been struggling to have a baby for five years and I got pregnant so fast, she thought I’d want to help her out because we’re sisters.”
