This is a dangerous place to put your employees in, because it might compromise their safety, and then it ends up being your fault. Moreover, she disagreed with her boss's use of image generation. She didn't want her pictures given over to an algorithm to be used as data, even if it was in the service of something as simple as making a cartoon. That's a pretty big trade-off. The big tech companies get your data, and you get a little caricature of yourself. It's understandable to want to opt out of this interaction. 

But when she tried to confront her boss about it and politely asked her not to use the picture, everything melted down.
