If you click on my bio and read the little snippet of my life I share there, you will know that I have been a Tumblr enthusiast ever since I was 13. It all began when I started watching Glee and became an embarrassingly huge fan of the show. I needed a place to vent and talk to fellow fans, so I found myself signing up for this weird website called Tumblr, and barely anyone in my real life knew about it. Yet, as soon as I started scrolling, I knew I had found my people.
Since then, I have had quite a few lifespans on that site, going through many fandoms and ships that defined Tumblr back then. I saw through all of the Supernatural drama, deep dived into the Dan and Phil conspiracies, and read through all of the ao3 fanfiction my fellow fangirls recommended.
The thing is, even though you can argue that the golden era of Tumblr is long gone, I never really stopped enjoying my time over there. Even now, whenever I decide to go on a scroll, I am met with hilarious posts, internet nostalgia, and some awesome edits of my favorite current ships. The fact that the IT couple over there is now Shane and Ilya from Heated Rivalry, and not Jonlock, doesn't really matter. The humor is still there, and yes, even the same old internet craziness that I have grown to love and appreciate.
