As this person explains, their city already has a noise ordinance, stating that people can't cause a racket between 10PM and 7AM.
And yet, the gym they live near is flaunting their desire to mow the lawn at 6AM, which is clearly a violation of the rules.
The reason given is probably the most infuriating part!

This seems so reasonable right?

Well, the gym didn't seem to agree

This is so ridiculous! They want to break the rules for their own benefit. They're acting like the people mowing the lawn are somehow preventing people from working out, which I'm sure is just not true. There must be a better reason than that!
I think this person did exactly the right thing, though! By getting this admission in writing, they can show it to the proper authorities and, hopefully, get them to stop their early morning mowing sessions.
I wonder why the gym is so unwilling to change their mowing time. Perhaps it's more expensive to pick other time slots, or maybe they just don't like the aesthetics of the lawn getting mowed during peak gym operation hours. None of it really makes much sense. It makes me wonder if they were just trying to get this person off their backs, not knowing that they just openly admitted to breaking local rules!
