A Mouthful of Hilarious Cooking Memes for Amateur Chefs

There are days when having to ask the question "what's for dinner?" can feel like the final straw.

Food can easily become yet another one of those adult responsibilities that you wish you could offload onto somebody else, who could ideally read your subconscious mind and whip up something delicious that satisfies everything that you realize you have been craving. Sadly, most of us are not given this privilege, and we have to decide for ourselves. What's more is that we have to get into the kitchen and do something about it, and probably even pay a visit to the grocery store before that. 

It's true, cooking is a skill that pays for us all to know the basics of, but it doesn't always feel the most fun. When all you want is something quick, easy, and maybe vaguely nutritious to keep you going until the next meal, the last thing you want to bother with is remembering the steps to a recipe. 

This is not to say that spending time in the kitchen can't be enjoyable. Indeed, some find it to be their favorite pastime. Even the rest of us can muster up some enthusiasm if we are making something that we really like, or we are given a small push of motivation through the entertainment of cooking memes. They may not always showcase the tastiest dishes, but they remind us that food is here for us to play with. Maybe it doesn't have to be such a chore.
