We might share our passwords or devices with our guests, but there's always a limit. Digital resources may feel invisible, but they still belong to someone who is paying for them. The access to it may feel just as routine, but once a WiFi network is locked, it's meant to be private, shared only with the people we choose. That's why we protect it with passwords and security settings.
