    Why is everyone so obsessed with protein?

    I know it's not just me. It's like I looked up from my book one day and everyone was trying to eat like a bodybuilder. When did we start putting protein in popcorn? That doesn't sound right? Why can't we just eat like normal people and not inject whey protein right into our bloodstreams? Everything online happens in extremes. We can't have just one thing. We have to have a billion of those things. We can't just put an idea out there; it has to be an ideology. This happens every time. Things have just gotten nuts over the last few years, and you can't remember which way is up. Except here at Cheezburger. We've remained pretty much the same. We bring you funny memes, pictures, and pictures of cats. It's not much, but it's honest work. We try to keep it real with you because you've always kept it real with us. We can be a little slice of safety away from the craziness of the wider internet. You can come here not only when you want a hit of nostalgia, but when you need that nostalgia to feel present. Does that make sense? We've kept up our memory into the 2020s, and we don't have any plan on stopping. Because we all need memes, and we all need new memes. We need stuff that reminds us why we came to the internet in the first place. It wasn't always like this, but here, you can relax. We've got your back, and we're going to have it forever.
