Sometimes you apply for a job and you can just tell it's not a real job. And this one is… especially blatant with their messaging!
This person applied for a job, and then got a full message of instructions, which is never a great sign. Folks, if a company tells you that if you don't follow their socials, that you won't get the job, you were never getting that job to begin with.
This person did apply to what they thought was a real job, only to get the most ridiculous text in the world.

Wow! A lot to unpack here.
Presumably this text was meant for virality, but it doesn't encourage either negative or positive followings. Most people probably wouldn't follow this company in a positive way, expecting like, professionalism or whatever. It seems so illegitimate. And why would you follow an unprofessional company on IG? Just for funsies?
I don't know , I think their whole…everything… needs a redo. This message is a hot mess, this strategy is so beyond strange, and they can't possibly be getting any results this way.

The pre-defensiveness is quite glaring! It's like they've already done this a hundred times and it hasn't gone well 99 times. so instead of changing their strategy, they're preemptively getting defensive about what someone might say.
