Many of us know how challenging it can be to get little children to settle down after a hard day's work. Sometimes, it might not be for the best, but all you can do is stick them in front of a television for an hour in order to get them to be sedentary. Because of this, internet access has become more than just a necessity for adults with jobs and students with homework. It's also a valuable tool for making rowdy kids a little less, well, rowdy.
This 27-year-old was good at getting his now ex-girlfriend's kids to calm down from their restlessness. However, when he moved out after learned that his ex's affair did not end when it was supposed to, the household lost the one person who was able to get those kids to quiet down for the night.
On top of this, the author knew that the only other thing that could get the kids to calm down, the internet, was in his hands. After all, he paid for WiFi access on his own and could even remotely control said access from his new place. That's when he came up with a plan for petty revenge that even some members of this online community felt was a bridge too far.
