    Better be on your best behavior in the workplace, otherwise you might find yourself on the shortlist of employees who are getting fired ASAP

    If you get an email from your boss that grinds your gears, think twice before sending off an impudent response. That's exactly what got one person fired. Well, sort of: as they explain it, they simply "replied honestly" to a boss's dim-witted question. 

    I bet it felt amazing in the moment to tell that boss exactly what was on their mind. But was that brief shining moment of glee worth it for what followed, which was probably at least a few weeks of unemployment?

    • One girl got fired because, as an intern, she decided to type up and send out an email to the whole company. To be clear: unless you're like, the CEO or CFO or HR leader, you should probably never do that. Unless someone has directly told you to email everybody, just don't do it, out of an abundance of caution! 

      However, her story is great because of what she emailed to everyone. It's honestly kind of iconic. I bet every single person at that workplace will remember her forever. Never let a potential firing keep you from shining bright!

      Hefty-Confusion6... This guy. I really liked him. He was so nice and funny. One day he was in line to buy a soda real quick, then a customer came looking for him asking for help. He took the soda with him, and helped the customer.

    • Afterwards he drank some of it and forgot he hadn't paid. So he goes up to the cashier, pays, and that's that. Maybe four days later I see him walking out with security. I said "Hey, what's going on?" He said "I'm being fired for the whole soda thing.

      Love this diva's enthusiasm. She was perhaps not the right fit for this workplace, but I hope she's had a big career since then. We all make mistakes as interns girl, don't even sweat it.
