One time many years ago, my coworker friend and I met up at the mall after work for some time together.
  • We noticed a fancy jeep taking up 2 prime spots and my friend and I had time so we decided to play a game.
  • I parked my small car in the spot on the left perfectly in the lines - and with the jeeps location, my car stopped them from entering their car on the driver side.

  • Then I hopped in my friends car across the lot and we waited. We wanted to witness our petty revenge first hand.
  • It would have been a simple 'haha' because all they had to do was crawl from the passenger side BUT After we get comfy in her car it gets better immediately- Someone sees what I did and copies in the right spot.

  • Now this jeep person has no way to enter their vehicle but from the back hatch.

  • Fast forward a few and the perpetrator and his girl friend come out. They walked around for a few minutes just throwing their arms up like 'what do we do now' and eventually the bald beef cake bf makes his circa 2001 gf crawl through the back hatch in her pink miniskirt to back it out.
  • FXRCowgirl Well played
  • DotAffectionate87 Almost as bad is when they park "just" inside or ON the line (so they have more space to get out on the drivers side), so technically only one space used, but a PIA for person parking beside.

  • Crewsy67 I messed up my knee last August and for now to get in and out of vehicles I need to fully open my my door. I park as close to centered in my spot as possible but a little while ago a car parked very close beside me preventing me from getting in. My wife was able to get in and pull the vehicle forward and as she got out the driver of the car beside me came up. Long story short my wife wasn't upset with me "talking" to the other driver. I applaud your pettiness.
  • liftguy111 I carry zip ties and I use them to attach shopping carts to cars that park like that.
  • dinahdog I parked in a compact space with my compact car. Next to a cement wall, giving me plenty of room to exit my car on the left. When I came back from my lunch date, there was a Cadillac Escalade in the compact space next to mine, like half his car was sticking out in back of the spot. Right up next to my driver's side. I had to crawl through the rear hatch and to the front. Not too proud, but as | backed out, I used my house key all the way along his passenger side. Never b4, never since,

  • Coolnamesarehard The other solution I've heard of is to use zip ties to attach shopping carts to the door handles. Not that I carry zip ties in my glove box for that reason, no, not me.
  • night_noche That he had the GF climb the car for his convenience is exactly what I would expect from someone who parks like that.
