How to address workplace tattle tale who takes secret photos?

I am new to this job and there's a person who goes around taking secret photos tattle tailing on people for not doing their work. This makes many employees including myself feel uncomfortable. She will always find something wrong someone did even if it's minor and posts photos on our app. The boss doesn't seem to care that she does this. What should I do?

originallycoolname Does the company have any policies regarding unauthorized filming/photography? They could be breaking policy - go to HR. Even if no policy, habitual behaviors like this can be considered harassment. Go to HR. Explicitly use the word harassment and intimidation. They will care more than your manager.

SpaldingPenrodthe3rd Since your boss doesn't care just ignore her. Every pic she takes and post you should comment. How does she get any work done if she's so busy worrying about what other people are doing..

MoneyHouseArk So look, this person will self destruct, you need not do anything but your job. See people think acting like this will help them climb the ladder into management, it does the exact opposite. The people that get promoted are the adults in the room that ignore immature behavior and don't cause problems.

GrandDaddyDerp Just wait till you get an opportunity to take a picture of her taking a picture. Pick an arbitrary amount of time you estimate it takes to capture a pic and post about it. Search and estimate the number of posts like this she has made and use it to calculate the total time spent not working on her tasks. Make post.

hereforthedrama57 The HR way would be to tell HR that you're not comfortable having your photo taken and ask to be excluded from this activity. Ask them if there is a photo release in your contract then explain that, if not, you did not consent to your behavior and performance being tracked via photos from an equivalent employee. The quick way would be to start doing it back to her.
