    2 week old kitten found in apartment ceiling after couple hears scared meows from bathroom, resulting in adoption into fur family with feline sibling, cat dad says: ‘After having a literal ceiling cat, we kind of felt obligated to adopt it, you know?’

    Would you know what to do if you hear meows coming from your ceiling? Well, if not then this story will give you the low down on how one couple made a miraculous rescue and added four paws to their fur family in the process.

    It is hard to imagine, but if you have ever had a rat or rodent running around your ceiling cavity we can imagine the sensation is similar, albeit a little different. In both cases you want the creature to get out of the ceiling, but in one case you want to keep and cuddle the creature and in the other you hope they have taken the long sleep before you come face to face.

    Either way, this was the conundrum put before this cat loving couple when the Cat Distribution System decided to bestow upon them a cat. As we all know the CDS likes to work its magic in a myriad of mysterious ways but this tale of kitten adoption is quite the unique one. Who knows perhaps this couple liked solving escape rooms and that is why the CDS delivered their kitten like this. Regardless of reason, with a bunch of patience this couple became pawrents for the second time and the rest is history.

It is hard to say where it comes from but a true cat lover is not someone who can let a feline in peril wait for someone else to turn up at a convenient time to help out, they need to get stuck in and save the kitty.     • Awww, it sounds as though these cattos were meant to be together. How sweet, and also heartbreaking, it is that they cried for each other all night while separated. But it is for the best and these pawrents were right to take things slow and be cautious, after all, cats are creatures with limited patience and in an instant things can go from play to fight. That being said impatience is probably warranted seeing as they are meeting between a kitten and an adult and with cats being as short tempered and unforgiving as they are there was always going to be a good chance that Frost would at some point have enough of Floyd’s nonsense and need a little space.
