  • Amanda Litman @amandalitman Follow • • • In less than 75 seconds, this exchange between Chloe Malle and Anna Wintour embodies everything I wrote about in "When We're in Charge" on the difference between old and new styles of leadership. Couldn't have scripted it better.
  • Contrarian Saver Contrarian ... @Contrarian... 18h • ... Chloe is surprisingly tactical and non- strategic in her response. Feels like something a college student could reflexively recite. I would have expected something more about building a brand that can transcend technical evolution...
  • Sonia Bas... @SoniaBas... 20h Ø • all i could think about is *this* is why boomers don't retire lol

  • Shwe @shwesharan 15h • I like her leadership. It is refreshing When asked about what she would do with the budget, you can see where her imagination went - not just to global reach or huge campaigns but to people, conversations, adventures.
  • Felix @felixmelz • 19h I think Chloe's answer doesn't serve as an example of any leadership style. It's just an immature answer. It doesn't mean Anna wouldn't have the same ideas, but the thing is that budget is a very sensitive topic and it is not to be discussed in such way

  • @friendlyblkhoty • 12h Chloe's off the cuff answer directly solves issues that are currently on the ground. People are expecting to hear a 10 year strategic framework for a budget that doesn't exist, and not even picking up how bristly Anna was from Chloe's answers.

  • TripleBee @BCat415 • 17h 100 Not to mention the arrogance of showing up for an interview wearing dark sunglasses ... That whole generation is 15 years past their sell-by date
  • Benjamin ... @benryan... 20h • I would spend it all on elaborate photoshoots in exotic locales that I would then nix at the last minute!
  • Natalia Natalia @nataliadal_ · 18h Of course she doesnt get nervous she's in her 70s and retiring ...

  • • visiting flop coun... @oldhag... 3h it's extremely clear that chloe wants vogue to have longevity in a new, digital landscape that has an increasingly democratized audience
  • UTUR RIDE Peter Wayner @peterwayner • 17h If only paying people 30% more was as easy as saying the words.
  • Heidi N. Moore @moorehn 19h ☑ • Anna Wintour's soul visibly leaving her body as Chloe Malle talks about social media budgets...she truly hired a middle manager for this job

  • FELIPE @felipemnzp. 18h I'm at a point where I'm starting to understand why Anna doesn't retire
  • beyza misses... @beyzanu... 6h • ● ● ● At first i thought people were supporting Chloe here only to find out they're siding with Anna. The same people who were constantly hating her Vogue now think she knows better because the younger one mentioned "social media"....
  • Lakyn Thee Stylist @OgLakyn 8h ☑ This brief clip has deeply endeared me to Chloe Malle and I am now ready and willing to take a bullet for her.

  • Karl @Craicthewhip_ · 18h 0 ... As someone who's been working in corporate roles for 15 years nearly Anna's style is at least honest and to the point. The amount of “inclusive” leaders who talk the good game but frankly are just the same in execution as an old school leader are ten a penny
