We love the Winter Olympic Games, they are genuinely the best sports events to observe and appreciate. Say what you will about sports, the competitions presented in the Winter Olympics are basically art, and these performers sure know how to put on a show.
Our favorite event is Figure Skating. We love the drama between the skaters, the forbidden moves that earn contestants gold medals, and the gut-wrenching emotional moments that leave everyone looking at the ice rink absolutely speechless. Everything about it is peak entertainment, and we just can't keep our eyes away from our TV screens whenever our favorite show is on.
But, if we're being completely honest, this year our interest in the Winter Olympics has peaked due to Heated Rivalry. That show has taken over our lives, and since we have nothing to do but wait for season 2, we had to look for similar excitement in any related field, even if that led us to the Winter Olympics. Sure, the Olympic Games don't have a secretly gay hockey player kissing his boyfriend on live TV, at least not currently, but the thrill of competition and rivalry is very much there, and as you know, we would never say no to some drama.
The best part of the Olympics, however, is not actually the games. What we enjoy most is all the content we see online about it. The funny tweets about the opening ceremony, the self-depricating feelings people share while they sit on their couch and watch contestants throw themselves down snowy mountains, and the hilarious TikToks Olympian gold-medalists make as they enjoy their time in Italy and the Olympic village.
This content is why we love being chronically online, since we get a break from the regularly scheduled content on our For You page and enjoy this breath of fresh air. Below is a collection of the funniest tweets, memes, and posts about the 2026 Winter Olympics that we simply had to share with the world. Scroll down to enjoy them!
