    Two feral kittens found hiding in truck engine get rescued, but third sibling takes 10 hours to crawl out and into kitten trap, cats given to local shelter for TNR and adoption: ‘She will be reunited with her siblings in their foster home this afternoon’

    Feral kittens are found in all sorts of places, but it is rather rare to find them in an engine bay as they were in this story that tells the tale of the stubborn kitten who refused to leave his engine home.

    While it was not a particularly comfy home, you can understand how a tiny kitten would find itself intimidated by the imposing character of a hooman looming over it and trying to capture it. If we were in the kitten's smol paws we would likely have chosen to do the same thing. But as always is, that which goes up into the engine, must at some point come down. And after a decently long standoff this kitten crawled out of its engine hiding place and into the trap that had been set up to capture it.

    Resulting in quite the heartwarming reunion with its kitten siblings who had already made it safely to their foster home. This serves as a brilliant reminder that you never quite know where the CDS might come at you from and what kind of cat or kitten it might bring your way. And that all you can do is try to be prepawed.

    • Yeah, little known fact about cats, they are natural mechanics. You show them an engine they can get stuck into and you can bet your bottom dollar on parts that they will be crawling inside that engine in no time looking for a fix. Unfortunately, that can mean that they are not all too easy to get out of said engines, especially when they are as smol as these kittens. And so in such cases you have to play the waiting game in the hopes that they shall tire and get bored of their engine build. It is a game of immense patience but it is one that pays off.

    • This is one heck of a slippery feline here. It is rather impressive that at such a young age this cat is more than capable of giving hoomans the slip. He is most certainly a cat who is destined for clawminal greatness as the years of his life go on and we would not be surprised at all to find that he will turn to steal carburetors in the hopes of making a few extra bucks to fund that fancy feline food obsession of his. Or well, the obsession that he shall soon develop when he comes crawling out of the engine.
