    'No collar, no owner, she's mine now': A cuddly porch cat named Dominio shows up one night and snuggles her way into an instant adoption

    The porch delivery system worked faster than expected.

    This hooman was supposed to be sleeping before a night shift when a tiny cat walked onto the porch and canceled those plans completely. She skipped introductions and went straight to snuggling legs, purring, and asking for scratchies like she'd been expected. Within minutes it was obvious this wasn't a quick visit. She had arrived with intent.

    The cuddle session turned into a blanket bundle and a trip to the vet. She protested being picked up, loudly and dramatically, but the mission was simple: check for a chip. No collar, no chip, no one looking for her. Just a very affectionate cat who had apparently chosen her person and her porch in one move.

    After that, the situation felt settled. She came back home and acted like she'd always lived there, already comfortable, already glued to her new human. Some cats ease their way into a house. This one walked in, purred, and finalized the arrangement in a single afternoon.

    A normal day turned into a cat adoption with no paperwork and no warning. One minute there were plans to sleep, the next there was a new roommate curled up and happy. She showed up, asked for affection, and stayed. It's hard to argue with a cat that confident.
