What a world we live in, getting our winter forecast from a groundhog. And yet, here we are. Gathering up more winter goods to make sure we're ready to spend another six months below freezing. Why does it have to be like this? I'm dang cold! But, oh boy, do I feel bad for parents. It's not easy when it's just cold and not snowy. Many kids still have to learn from home when temperatures are just cold. Do you know who also now has to stay home? Parents. Do their jobs care that it's -2 degrees Fahrenheit out? Nope. 

Snow days are all fun and games until they linger. There are only so many winter games that parents can come up with. Soon, their kid is going to ask to play "Frozen" for the fifth billionth time and a parent might just crack under those kinds of circumstances. Anyone would!
