Being around a cat has never been conducive to being productive.

We have all seen how they act when there is a human or two who is working from home. They cause trouble in far-flung corners of the house, meaning that somebody has to get up and stop them from making mischief. They continually complain for food and attention. The walk right across the screen whenever people are trying to conduct a Zoom meeting (admittedly, this is often the highlight of the working day for everyone else involved).
