As we get older (and hopefully wiser) there are two things we've grown to appreciate more than when we were younger: Dad jokes, and cats.

You remember when your dad would make all of his terrible puns when you were a kid? The other thing we've come to appreciate more in our growing years is cats. We always loved them, but we couldn't always relate to them. In our teens and 20s, we were more like a golden retriever: happy to please, loved being around people, and always up for an adventure. But the older we get, the more we realize we're actually much more like a cat: we prefer our solitude with the people we love, staying home, and sleeping as much as pawssible. Maybe this is also a rite of passage that comes with the appreciation of the "dad joke".
