So this is step one in the healing process. You simply cannot continue your day while you are being bombarded with inane questions and comments. Your frazzled pre-freakout brain simply cannot handle it. Especially if you are serious about fending off your impending freakout. So start by putting this meme or a message of similar effect as your email signature and Slack status and then you can begin this healing journey the way that it was intended. If you fail to do so you risk being unnecessarily interrupted part way through and ruining any progress you might have made.

Dang, not gonna lie, it would be nice if whoever had our voodoo doll could just get on with the work for us. It is almost as much torture as being poked and prodded anyway. Heck, it might even be more painful considering that the work week lasts far longer than any poking and prodding session ever could. At least that way we would be more subjected to the work, rather than actively choosing to do it. Meaning we can kinda sit back and focus on the pain a bit more than the strain. It might not be a lot but it certainly is something.
