Dad Impulsively Adopts the Sweetest Kitten Because His Bonus Check Unexpectedly Clears While Shopping at the Pet Store

There are regular cat adoption stories, and then there are irrefutable, serendipitous, fate-driven, wholesomely purrfect cat adoption tales that shine in the stars and make us happy beyond measure…

Many cat lovers would argue that the day they decided to come home with their feline, it was a surprise. Whether they got the cat from the humane society, a pet store, or a Walmart parking lot, cats will ultimately decide when their hooman companions will be taking them home, turning the tables on whose the master in the relationship from day one. Kittens, especially, will play babyeyes on loop to purrsuade hoomans to take them home, particularly when they know they're vulnerable, malleable, or just received a hefty bonus check. 

This kitten laid her cuteness on extra thick when a dad and his two children came into the pet store. Although they were just there to pick up dog food and run typical errands, the cat knew that these humans were going to become his forever family. However, like every kitten in the window, this dad turned away, quickly shutting down the idea of a new cat addition to the family because he didn't think they could afford another pet. But as he was snapping pictures of the felines playing with his kiddos to send to his wife, a notification popped up on his screen that changed everything.
