Even though they are usually snuggled in bed with us, and technically only make us want to stay there even longer, our cats are a huge motivation to get us through the day.
First, the minute we step outside the house, we are already counting down the hours until we get to go back home to these silly felines. It doesn't matter if that reunion is 20 minutes or a full 8-hour workday away; the mental clock is ticking, and the countdown is doing its thing. If someone decides to invite us for an outing in the evening, there is no way we would agree to prolong our time apart from our babies. The moment we can, we are back at home, in bed, snuggling and happy.
Second, we know we need a job so that we can provide for these little babies, and that is a necessary motivation to get us through 5 days of work every single week. Our fluffy children need food on their plates, litter in their boxes, and snacks in their bellies, and we have to ensure there are always funds for their fancy lifestyles. We can complain about our jobs all we want, but we know we absolutely have to get there every morning and get that bread. Without a paycheck, there is no way we could give these queens the lives they deserve.
Lastly, there is nothing that makes us laugh quite like our beloved pets. Every single thing they do around the house is either hissterical or singlehandedly warms our hearts. We know that if we get out of bed in the morning, we have countless opportunities to laugh and swoon over these feisty felines, and that is the best motivation out there.
