We think that this might be one of the best things that we have read all year. Or in the past 6 years. Somehow, reading this, knowing that this kitty is out there, living and thriving and happy, at such an old age, brings us so, so much hope. We wish all cats could live this long and be this healthy. We wish all of them could break this record over and over again. And this… somehow, makes us think that maybe our kitty will live this long too. Maybe our babies will be with us longer than we even expected. Even though 30 years is still not long enough.

Look, we understand why you were trying to get your cat off the roof. We would have packed and tried to do the same thing had we been in your place. But this is clearly part of the cat's plan. The way that this cat is looking at you is like it is confused by your reaction. Probably because it is. In fact, you interrupted the cat's roof time, and really, that is something unacceptable. You will never keep this little guy away from there. It has found the coolest, highest, least populated by humans spot in the house, and he is not going to give up on it.
