Brave woman rescues sweet tortico kitten with folded puppy-like ears who was lost in snow that was taller than her and gives her a second chance: 'I'm not sure she would have survived the night and the next day'

No kitten should be stuck outside in the snow when there are so many available homes and warm blankets out there.

In weather like this, it's highly important to keep an eye out. It took a couple of seconds for the person in this story to spot this frozen kitten in the snow. She was running, god knows where. It's only because this person was paying attention that they were able to see her and catch her. And without them, she probably would not have made it through the night, let alone an entire winter.

When this person finally made it to the kitten, they realized that the kitten was frostbitten to an extreme degree. Getting her home would not have been enough to save her, but it was the first and most important step. Without them, we don't even want to think about what would have happened to her. And this was all entirely chance. This could have happened to any one of us. We can only hope that anyone who this does happen to is like the person in this story, that they would stop and rescue the frozen kitten from the snow rather than looking away or pretending that they didn't see.

This has to be one of the most unique-looking cats that we have ever seen, and goodness, we have seen many. We don't think that we have ever seen ears like that one a cat. Based on the story, we can only assume that these ears happened as a result of them being nearly frozen before, and still, we have seen cats be rescued from freezing temperatures without this happening to them. This is officially one of the coolest cats that we have ever seen, and we can only ask, very politely, that you continue posting pictures of the kitty every chance you get.

Thank god that you get her out of the cold on time. We don't even want to know what would have happened to her had you not found and taken her when you did. We think that we can safely say that you saved her life, and that is something that should never be taken for granted. There are not many people who would have done what you did, who would have gone out of their way to help an animal in need like this. And although she might not be able to tell you in words how thankful she is, we are sure that she feels it, and we will say it for her: thank you.
