This really is something that we have to stop and think about sometimes. Because it's so strange. On the one hand, these are our babies, and we know that they would never be able to survive without us. On the other hand, when we are out all day, doing the things that we need to do, our cats are at home, entertaining themselves somehow, doing things that we will never know anything about. Their own little thoughts, feelings, habits, likes, dislikes. They're like… little people, but also cats. And as baffling as that is, we also think that this is one of our favorite things about them.

As funny as this is, it actually looks like it would be an effective way of making them eat more slowly. And we're not kidding when we say that we might take this idea for ourselves as well. Our adorable cat sees food and probably thinks that it is going to be stolen from her. That is the only thing that explains how fast she eats. She does not chew, and we don't know what to do about it anymore. Except now maybe we do. We'll be back with an update after we try this creative new method.
