The face that each and every one of us makes the moment that we hear free food while walking around in our daily lives. It is the mix of instinctual draw and of course appreciation for free things and food that creates this unique definitive stop in our thinking, while our body attempts to awkwardly carry on moving. But without access to brain facilities it can be said that the walking takes on a unique style.

While there are many things that can cause a canine to enter into a derp, there is one thing that binds all derps together and that is an overload of excitement. Something in their tiny doggo brains slightly snaps and they are left in a semi-broken state in which they desperately try to comprehend what has happened around them, but the delight that they have instinctively felt and that has overwhelmed them is stopping them from being able to control any part of their body.
