This one photo put Pallas' cats at the front and center of the internet once it dropped. Nobody knew what Pallas' cats were before this (we're sure some people did, but now, almost every cat purrson knows and adores them). We then learned that they adorably stand on their tails in the snow to keep their little feetsies warm, and that sealed the deal in the hearts of cat lovers. Overnight, we all secretly asked Santa to bring us one for Christmas.

Many of these pictures turned into meowconic cat memes later. What you're looking at here is purrre internet history, fam. We don't know many of their names, but we will remember their cute, furry faces for our whole lives.
