We all need a little help throughout our day sometimes. We need a little boost to take us out of the dreary day-to-day stuff of life. You mean to tell me I have to wake up every day, get up out of bed, put clothes on, eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner just to do it all again the next day? You've got to be kidding. Adulting is a word we throw around a lot, but it is this adult stuff that keeps us down. It's the endless times we've cleaned out the kitchen sink. It's every time we've had to decide what to eat for lunch. It's that sock that we keep wearing and washing, wearing and washing, from here until oblivion. It can be hard to keep up with every single day.

This is why we need to treat ourselves when we can. Tom from Parks and Rec had this idea right. He knew how important it is to give yourself stuff to look forward to. We need moments throughout the day that remind us of who we are and that life is worth living. Maybe you have a special meal you make for yourself when you're feeling down, or a television show that you turn on that always has a way of regulating your nervous system. Or maybe you reach into the deep depths of the internet in hopes of finding some good memes.

That's what we're here to do today. We're here to look at memes that will make us feel a little better about life. They will take us out of our slumps and into something beautiful. They're silly and stupid and will probably leave your brain as soon as they enter. But they provide temporary relief, and that is nothing to scoff at. Life is full of trials and tribulations.
