Perhaps one of the most irritating things about holding down the average job is how much of your time defaults to doing things for the sake of somebody else. This wouldn't be the worst if it were happening for the sake of something worthwhile, but more often than not, this couldn't be further from the truth. Many employees are dedicating forty hours or more of their lives a week simply to make some rich people richer.
