Can you imagine being so fragile that you think a puppy is the root cause of your relationship problems?

Just like babies, a puppy will not "fix" your relationship. The puppy stage is one of the cutest moments in a pawrent's life, but it will also push your relationship to its limits. You will have many sleepless nights, mny disputes over pawrenting, and countless valuable things broken or chewed to pieces. You will get tired of being bitten and arguing with a 4-month-old diva doggo who has nearly unlimited energy and is just trying to figure out the world. We've seen many relationships end over dogs, and this one below is no exception. However, this time, it wasn't the dog's fault, but the boyfriend's.

From the get-go, you can already tell that there's more going on here than just some puppy problems. Firstly, the boyfriend and girlfriend have a 25-year age gap. We're not judging age gap couples, but you can't deny that there will be more problems than a couple that's only a few years apart in age. He's practically old enough to be her father, but that's a topic for a different article. Anyway, the puppy, like all puppies, needed to be house-broken, AKA "potty trained". He thinks that's weird, and so instead of training the puppy as one should, he decided to sell it. Yes, he decided to sell the puppy behind her back because it was ruining their relationship. That's a winning idea, isn't it?

What part of potty training a dog is creepy? It's the most natural thing in the world. Babies have to be potty-trained, as do puppies. Cats instinctively know where to go to the bathroom on their own, but they're the exception. It's not even that difficult; it just takes time and patience. You have to watch the puppy like a hawk, and whenever you think it needs to go, you scoop it up, run outside, and pray that it does the deed outside. Then, you shower them with love, affection, and treats, and eventually, they learn that that's what they're supposed to do.
