    The timidness of hoomans is truly going to be our downfall. If we do not manage to get over our obsession with cute things that make our hearts melt and make us give in to any and all demands then the feline species will soon take over control of this planet and hoomans shall rule no more. At least that is the conclusion that one might come to after reading this story. For all it took for this man to end up with a cat living in his home, full time, is a simple look and a meow. As though the cat managed to weave its way into this man's mind, wrap itself around it and take full control.

    Heck, it even made the man run out at the crack of dawn to bring cat supplies from the nearest store. Some seriously cunning convincing has happened here. But hey, that is the price of loving cats it seems, you know, amongst all the other things like getting scratched, bitten and worst of all side-eyed when you do not live up to the hype.

    • Ah you know, once you make the mistake of bowing to their feline demands, it is over. You are cooked. You shall no longer have any personal possessions. From now on they belong to the cat and you are using them at the cat’s pleasure. And any space that the cat should choose to call their own shall become so and you will leave the cat alone for fear of being evicted from your own home, because while you slept your cat crossed out your signature on the rental agreement and added their own.

    • This is one of the great upsides of having a cat as your roommate. They really do try to keep to their own space. They will likely try to avoid putting their food on your shelf in the fridge, they won't have noisy guests over, and most of the time you simply will not see them. And sure, from time to time they might head outside to bring home some vermin, but how is that any different than living with an avid hunter?
