Cats know when they're safe from harm. Oftentimes, they trust in their nine lives more than they probably should, like when they leap from the top of the fridge onto a moving hooman, but there's a reason cats are so confident. Imperious and graceful, cats have an air of supurriority that they rightfully deserve. Natural-born predators, they still have that instinct of prowess, even when faced with dangers far larger than they've ever seen. But as many humans who are multi-pet owners can attest, regardless of the size of the dogs in the house, with a cat, the kitty will always be king (or queen) of the household.
Who can blame them? The Egyptians once worshipped cats; maybe we should consider bringing that back! Especially after this kitty stands up to a ravenous coyote, she deserves a medal of bravery at the very least. Is your cat at home as brave as this? Or do you have a scaredy kitty hiding under the bed? With cats there's no in-between. Nonchalance, or total scaredy cat, that's the only option.
