    first_best_fox This is why we don't let our cats out - we've got coyotes and birds of prey in our backyard that would snatch them up. They love the screened porch though.

    ahava9 Thank goodness for catio. You may want to add some netting to the bottom or something just for an added layer of protection and keep coyote paws out.

    Maybe I'm just paranoid. My friend's parents' Maltese was grabbed through a fence by a coyote a few years ago. The dog was injured but ok thankfully.

    Ordinary-Quarter... Yup, we have had coyotes and raccoons circle or try to break in, and I live in a pretty urban neighborhood in Massachusetts.
