For how much I love cats, I have to admit I've never saved a kitten that I saw outside meowing. Maybe it's lack of clarity about how to adopt a street cat, or maybe it's just negligence, but the cat distribution system works in mysterious ways and it could behoove me to actually do something one day about a street cat that I see.

This story really begs the question if the female who just had a litter is actually this cat's mom. It seems likely since she's so drawn to his meows, and she seems to be protective of him automatically. Whenever a cat comes into someone's life like this, it's always the best thing to do to manage the situation by keeping the kitten healthy. A vet trip is essential so they can get cleaned up and have the feeling that they are being treated for any diseases they could have, and get proper shots. The treatment might be expensive, but nonetheless important.
