Another pawliday season has passed, which means it's time to count down the days until the first warm moment of early spring. January, February, and March are the most difficult seasons to push through because there isn't much to look forward to. The cold days are only just beginning, but at least the days are getting longer by the second. Our curious felines don't know the difference; they sleep for 22 hours a day and expect nothing but food, cuddles, and to be left alone when they ask for it. I must say, I wish I had that life too. I'm sure that all of the cat meowthers and pawthers reading this feel similarly.
Easy now, though. We mustn't start the new year, 2026, off on the wrong paw. We cannot lead with envy, but instead, lead with gratefulness and excitement for what's to come. Though we aren't looking forward to Churus and other miscellaneous treats reserved for certain felines living in our households, we can look forward to their mews of excitement when they see us come home from work every weekday. Aren't we lucky to have a creature who not only relies on us but also chooses to love us unconditionally as well?
What are your grandiose plans for 2026? A big dream vacation? To finally relax instead of moving from task to task constantly? Whatever your situation and promise to yourself might be, it's safe to say that we're all hoping for some good change this year. We need more pawsitivity in every capacity, and, funnily enough, we know exactly where to start finding it…
I Can Has Cheezburger has been serving the internet pawsitivity in a pristine cat food bowl for decades, and we hope to keep doing so for decades to come. If there's one thing this crazy world can agree on, it's that animals have the pawtential to change your entire outlook on life, but only if you let them/ Why not start now? Scroll below to dip your toes into some feline comedy before the clock strikes midnight tomorrow! Happy (early) New Year to all of you.
