Humans like to think they’re in charge, but really we’re just lucky the cats let us stay. They could have left at any time, yet they choose to share their space, their routines, and occasionally their affection. Being owned by a cat is less about responsibility and more about gratitude. We don’t keep cats. Cats keep us, and generously allow us to serve them.

A full-on meeting of the girlbosses, and attendance was mandatory. No schedules were shared, yet everyone arrived exactly when they meant to. There were no notes taken, no plans written down, just strong energy and mutual recognition of power. They didn’t gather to debate or ask permission. They gathered because they run things. Decisions were made silently, authority was confirmed, and the world continued on as usual, completely unaware of who is actually in charge.

Cats don’t follow the rules because the rules were never for them. They walk where they want, sit where they choose, and ignore every boundary with confidence. It’s not misbehavior, it’s leadership. When you live with a cat, you learn quickly that you’re not enforcing rules at all. You’re just adjusting to the boss.
