Cats, are not the most amenable to change in their lives. Just think what happens when your local market runs out of your cat’s preferred food and you have to serve up something that is not on the approved list of foods your cat likes? So what can we expect to happen when we tell them that they are indeed adopted and that they are not our real children. It is going to take a heck of a lot of time and treats to get this cat child to calm down.

Much like hoomans, you can expect each cat to take such serious news in a variety of different ways. Some will be shocked, others offended and others might be completely ambivalent to the whole thing. Playing it off as though they already knew it was the case. So it is not all too difficult to believe that a cat would be in disbelief. Problem being that if you got your cat via the cat distribution system there is little proof to show them that they once had a feline mother…
