Well, we hate to confirm what this rescuer felt, but yeah quite a lot of people do not like cats. And much like any other irrational dislike, it is due to preconceptions that have been formed over thousands of years and gently trickled into our collective mindset. Things such as the clever independent women of the medieval times who had house cats who kept them safe from diseases, branding them witches. Even though we know none of that to be true, society still suffers from the stigma.

Wow, what a wonderful update to hear. It is not all too often that you get to find out what happened to a poor cat that was picked up off the street. But in this case we have been truly treated to a wonderful story, of trust building, healing and the integration of this sweet cat into the lives of its new family. It is so heartwarming to hear the stories of responsible and caring pawrents.
