32-year-old postal worker tells his coworker to watch his favorite holiday film 'Jingle All the Way,' turns out his coworker was living the scenario in real life: 'I was intending for a lighthearted laugh...'

A postal worker's favorite movie is a Christmas film that includes a postal worker. No surprise there? However, when he suggested it to a coworker and then finds out he's living the exact same scenario, he was very surprised…

Coincidences happen all the time. Sometimes for the best and sometimes for the worst. Sometimes it creates great real-life comedy and other times it just make it so you have to say, "oh well" and carry on. In this case, it was the latter. It turns out that sometimes life really does reflect art and vice versa. In this case, it was a postal worker living out the same scenario as Sinbad in the classic holiday film Jingle All the Way. 

If you haven't seen the movie, here's a little summary with no spoilers: Basically, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sinbad are two overworked fathers who messed up on getting the toy their son wanted really badly. So they race to the store and it turns into a competition on who can get the last one in stoke. Silliness ensues, life lessons are learned, and overall it's a wonderfully wholesome comedic Christmas movie that is fun for the whole family. 

It's the favorite of many Christmas lovers, but it's not surprise that it is the favorite of a fellow postal worker as well. Unfortunately, maybe the film was a little too close to home, because after he recommended this film, the "coincidence" started to happen. Unfortunately, for this coworker, he did not make it to the store in time and was unable to get the bicycle his son wanted. No the postal worker wants to stop him from watching the movie because it might hit him too hard in the feels…
