It's our dream to adopt a failed police dog. You get all the benefits of a perfectly-trained dog, and you get to snuggle with it! It's no easy job to be on the K-9 force; these doggos have to have pawfect control, precision, reliability under stress, and be able to clearly communicate with their handler. They go through many stages of training and evaluation before getting their official certification, and if they graduate, will typically serve between six and nine years before retiring.

This picture is either of a “water deer” or a “musk deer”. They are the only kinds of deer that grow visible tusks instead of antlers. They also have a nickname called “vampire deer” and it's easy to understand why. We wouldn't want a bite from one of those bad boys!
