We feel that sentiment 100%. Puppies are great. They're adorable. But they're also a lot of work. Our dog is finally considered an “adult” dog and only after 3 years are we even starting to think about getting another puppy. You need a break from all the chaos to enjoy your dog finally settling into their adult personality before throwing your house into puppy mode again.

You know what's crazy? When our partner snores, we can't sleep at all. We even sometimes have to ask them to sleep in the living room. But when our dog snores? It's like music to our ears. We fall asleep in an instant. Maybe it's that we take comfort in knowing they can sleep so soundly, or maybe it acts like some puppy version of white noise. It's ironic, actually.
