There's something we can never understand, and that is when people decide "I'm just going to put this dog here". And by "here", we mean the middle of nowhere, far away from what the dog knows as "home", in one of the coldest months of the year. We don't understand how this thought could cross a person's mind. How could anyone abandon a dog? It's a question we don't have an answer for. Especially not in these season's conditions.

The only reason we can think of doing something like this has nothing to do with the dog, but with the person doing this horrid deed. It can only happen if the person doesn't view the dog as an equal in life. Like the dog is a "thing", or more likely a "nothing". Something to toy with, to do whatever they want with. And this line of thought can lead to people treating dogs very badly. And this is something we could never agree with. Dogs are not "things", or "nothing"s. Dogs are living, breathing creatures, and if you adopt a dog - they are your responsibility for life.

And people who already have a doggo BFF by their side know the heartwarming truth - if you show your dog love and care, they'll show it back to you tenfold. Dogs show love for the ones who love them back. And that's very clear for anyone who has ever had a dog in their life.
